I'd like to tell you about our school. We have a wonderful headmaster who is always thinking of ways to help our community. He urged children in our school who could spare an item of food to bring it in so that we could start a grab and go scheme for anyone in our community to come and stock up on much needed supplies at this time. It was hugely successful last week so much so that he and our vice principal have restocked with money that our pta had set aside for a new computer suite it will be open a couple of times a week and not only for our school community but anyone in the local area.
My own sister who is fit and well has a network of people who she’s in regular contact with for a chat and to deliver home bakes and any supplies needed.
